In this intensive 10-day class, students with prior setting experience will focus on Fine Micro Setting and Pavé Techniques for use in High-Quality Jewelry Making.

Topics to be covered consist of:

Holding Tips and Tricks
Framing and Layouts
Proper Microscope Tuning
Work Fixturing
Graver Preparation
Graver Cut Ajours (Square & Honeycomb)
Cutting Beadwork and Patterns (French and Swiss Styles)

Prerequisite:

Answer 2 Questions Along With Submission Of A Few Photos Showing Best Representation Of Your HAND CUT Bead and/or Pave Setting (NO CAD/CAST PRONGS PLEASE) For INSTRUCTOR APPROVAL. Must know how to use a microscope.
