Growing up I excelled at two things naturally which were music and art. Traditional school didn’t offer me much except to draw on my notebooks and be a disruption in class. It wasn’t until I started college and had legitimate music and art classes that I could sit still and focus. During this time I started to apprentice goldsmithing at my brothers Jewelry store. Soon after that I was taking classes at The New approach school for jewelers getting advanced training that would propel me into the industry. While taking ornamental hand engraving with Jason Marchiafava in August 2008 something in my brain clicked and I’ve been off and running ever since. Besides my beautiful wife and family my work as a jeweler and hand engraver has been the biggest blessing in my life.
