Cameron is a third-generation jeweler whose love for jewelry began early in life. Born in Wisconsin and raised in Maui, Cameron’s mother, Pam, has been a skilled jeweler for almost 35 years, and her grandfather owned a successful jewelry store in Santa Barbara. As a child, she spent a lot of time in her mother’s shop, tinkering with tools and becoming familiar with materials.

At a young age, Cameron started doing her own projects at her mother’s bench. She learned to do simple fabrication and some stone setting and fell in love with the craft.

Looking for more, Cameron made the decision to leave Maui and move to Tennessee to attend the 12-week program at the New Approach School for Jewelers in spring 2025. The experience proved to be a major turning point in her career, providing an intensive, hands-on education that significantly accelerated her technical abilities and confidence at the bench. Inspired by the opportunity and growth she found there, she chose to remain in Tennessee and pursue her career.

Cameron began working at a high-volume commercial repair shop after Graduating at NASJ. The fast-paced, high-quota environment challenged her to refine her efficiency, ultimately strengthening her adaptability and speed while deepening her knowledge in stone setting and repair work.

After gaining industry experience, Cameron was offered a position at the New Approach School for Jewelers, joining the team in January 2026. Working in the classroom alongside Blaine Lewis, Jason Marchifava, and Allen Ziegler, Cameron shares her passion for the trade by teaching the next generation of jewelers.
